A Season of Growth: Discover Upcoming Fall Programs

As the summer days come to an end, it's time to look forward to the new school year and the enriching programs that await you this fall. Whether you have a passion for music, entrepreneurship, personal growth, or photography, Mercy Works offers fall programs with opportunities for learning and self-expression. We have curated a list of four upcoming programs that will inspire and empower the youth in our community:

1) Digital Music Lab (September 21 - December 7)

Calling all high school students with a passion for music production! Digital Music Lab is the perfect 12-week program to develop your music composition and production skills. From exploring Patterns Beatmaker to MIDI instruments and audio recording, you will collaborate with fellow students to create great beats. The best part is the program culminates with a Beats Showcase where students present their finished tracks. 2) BMB Vision Ventures (September 18 - November 17)

Are you a budding entrepreneur aged 10-16? Look no further than BMB Vision Ventures! This program encourages you to approach entrepreneurship with a philanthropic mindset. You will learn about the difference between goods and services, develop a sound business plan, and transform your ideas into a captivating Google presentation. Through engaging drills, you will refine your public speaking skills and prepare to present your business plan to a panel of community judges. You will also be given the opportunity to participate in the BMB Vision Ventures Expo!

3) Vision Velocity (September 15, October 20, November 17, December 15)

Young men in 7th - 12th grades, it's time to accelerate your personal growth with Vision Velocity! This monthly mentorship program is designed to guide you in setting a vision-driven approach to life. Through engaging activities, article readings, research on current events, and inspiring movies, you will learn from successful individuals who have achieved their dreams. Vision Velocity empowers you to embrace your purpose and work towards making your aspirations a reality.

4) PAL Project (September 19 - December 12)

If you have a passion for photography and storytelling, Photography and Literacy (PAL) Project is the program for you. Developed in partnership with Syracuse University, this 12-week experience for junior high school students is designed to take you on a journey of inquiry-based educational photography and literacy. Unlock your storytelling potential and develop your writing and visual skills through the exploration of technical photography. The program culminates in the publication of a cookbook featuring your entries, including photos, recipes, and stories.
